Yuankai Wang

Yuankai is a passionate aviation professional with more than seven years of experience in commercial strategy in the airline and airport sectors. He has a proven track record in delivering solutions based upon solid analytical processes, especially in projects requiring deep technical domain knowledge.

Prior to joining Alton, Yuankai was an asset manager at Changi Airports International (CAI), where he contributed to due diligence efforts leading to several successful bids on major emerging market airport privatization projects, specifically in the areas of traffic development strategy and CapEx and OpEx projections. He also led airline and passenger development initiatives at CAI asset airports across three regions. Yuankai began his career at AirAsia Group in network planning and revenue management roles, most recently leading a cross-functional team in developing the group’s long-term strategy for Greater China encompassing network expansion, fare structure revision, and distribution strategy.

Yuankai holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University.
