
Based in Alton's Dubai office, Raffaele combines his management consulting experience and aeronautical engineering background to bring innovative solutions to Alton's clients, leveraging strong data-driven analytics capabilities.
Representative experience on a recent due diligence engagement for an emerging GCC airport included leading market analysis, traffic forecasting, capacity and infrastructure assessment workstreams. In other engagements, he contributed to a ground handling market study, developed a strategy for a major airport in the region, led the assessment of co-ownership models for the private aviation sector for a client in East Asia, and participated in business model development for a private aviation operator in KSA.
Prior to joining Alton, Raffaele worked as a management consultant at ALG and Alhambra Infrastructure Advisors, where he participated in several airport-focused projects, including traffic forecasting, development strategy definition, capacity assessment and simulation. He also contributed to defining the economic regulatory and monitoring framework for a major civil aviation authority in the region and the expansion strategy for a global FBO network. Previously, Raffaele improved his data-analytics and problem-solving acumen as an aerodynamics engineer with a high-end supercar manufacturer and as a scientific researcher.
Raffaele holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETHZ) and an MSc. in Aeronautical Engineering from Linköping University. He is a native Italian speaker, fluent in English and German, with intermediate level in French and Swedish.
