Jonathan Baranes

Jonathan is based in Alton's Dublin office, where he brings together his lifelong passion for aviation and his expertise in finance. As a licensed commercial pilot, he combines first-hand operational insight with strong financial and analytical skills to support the firm's clients.

Before joining Alton, Jonathan gained broad experience in corporate finance, venture capital, and audit. In these roles, he worked on valuations, financial modeling, and investment analysis, building a versatile skill set that he now applies to aviation consulting assignments. His dual background allows him to bridge technical aviation knowledge with investor-focused decision-making.

Jonathan holds a master's degree in finance from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Reichman University. Beyond his native Italian, Jonathan is fluent in English and Hebrew.
