Florian Van Vugt

Based in Alton's Dublin office, Florian is a Senior Associate combining his passion for the aviation industry with extensive financial and transaction advisory experience, as well as commercial and business acumen, to help clients solve complex strategic and financial issues across the aviation value chain.

Florian started his career in ING Bank's international talent program and held a variety of roles in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Singapore. Prior to joining Alton, he was a Vice President in the bank's Singapore office where he helped originate, structure, and execute financing transactions for airlines and leasing companies as part of the bank's global aviation sector team. Florian was also responsible for driving the bank's sustainability efforts in the aviation sector, and shared responsibility for the bank's progress on climate alignment.

Florian earned his BS in International Business Administration from the University of Twente and his MS in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University) and Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management.
