Alton Aviation Consultancy welcomes new Managing Director, Denis Hogan
DUBLIN (January 8, 2024) — Alton Aviation Consultancy is pleased to announce the appointment of Denis Hogan as a Managing Director, based in Dublin, Ireland.
With a successful career as a seasoned aircraft leasing executive and advisor spanning over 30 years, Mr. Hogan brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to Alton Aviation Consultancy and its clients, further solidifying the company’s position as a global leader in aviation consulting.
Denis was a founding team member of SMBC Aviation Capital (previously RBS Aviation Capital), which grew from a start-up in 2001 to one of the world’s top three aircraft lessors. He held key positions, including Executive Vice President and Head of Airline Marketing for Europe, Middle East, and Africa where his leadership steered a team responsible for leasing aircraft to airlines in the region. Previously, he played pivotal roles as Head of OEM Relationships and Head of Restructuring.
Before SMBC, Denis was a Partner at IAMG, a successful aviation advisory company that later sold to become RBS Aviation Capital. Denis started his aviation career with GPA Group and subsequently worked in banking with Barclays and KBC.
Denis will leverage his extensive experience, relationships, and proficiency in the commercial airline and aviation finance industries to support the success of Alton’s clients.
