Alton Aviation Consultancy’s Managing Director John Mowry and Engagement Manager Ganesh Nair have been invited to the 2021 Airline Economics School of Aviation Finance, Investment & Leasing New York event, to be held at Metropolitan Club, on October 20-21, 2021.

 

Mr. Mowry will deliver a presentation to attendees entitled “The impact of defaults on aircraft leasing economics” while Mr. Nair’s presentation is entitled “How investors can use maintenance cash flow modeling to manage and mitigate risk”.

 

John Mowry brings nearly 20 years of aviation industry experience to his global client base, including more than a decade of experience providing advisory and consulting services. Based in our New York office, John brings deep domain expertise and objective counsel across a wide range of aviation matters. John is a skilled subject matter expert to operators, lessors, and equity and debt investors on a wide array of aviation asset classes, including aircraft, engines, and inventories. He has advised investors on the selection, acquisition, and financing of billions of dollars in aircraft and aircraft operating leases, frequently working on large, confidential transactions. Accredited as a Certified Appraiser by ISTAT, he has valued the comprehensive aviation assets owned and leased by the world’s largest airlines to the smallest end-of-life leasing and aftermarket participants.

 

Ganesh Nair brings a proven track record in aircraft leasing and financing to clients in our New York office. For nearly a decade, he has advised clients and investors on several high-profile aviation debt and equity investments, including cash flow forecasting engagements for dozens of large-scale ABS issuances. Investors, leasing companies and banks trust him for complex analytic support, objective counsel and a deep understanding of the technical and financial aspects of every project. Before joining Alton, Ganesh worked at ICF SH&E, where he was a Senior Manager in the aviation asset advisory and management practice. He began his career at Boeing as a Structural Engineer at the Everett, WA factory. Ganesh earned his BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering and Systems Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
