Alton Team: Jonathan Berger,   Joshua Ng

Alton Aviation Consultancy Managing Director, Jonathan Berger, and Joshua Ng, Regional Manager – Asia Pacific, will both be speaking at MRO Asia-Pacific.
Being held from September 24th to 26th at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre, MRO Asia-Pacific is the region’s premier event for all those involved in the industry to exchange ideas and best practices, experiences, debate issues and challenges and gather knowledge. More than 5000 attendees are expected to be there and the exhibition will feature over 200 companies displaying their products, solutions and services. The event is co-located with Aero Engines Asia-Pacific.

Jonathan will be one of the expert speakers at two of the conference sessions. In the first one – Reduced Maintenance Requirements of New Aircraft – Fact or Fiction? – the panelists will debate whether or not newer aircraft require less maintenance. During the course of the session, they will seek to answer a number of questions including: what are the major maintenance challenges and expectations for new aircraft; how do material and inventory-related costs compare; what new training and certification requirements are there for technicians; and what are the labour cost implications?

In his second session – The Impact of EIS on MRO – Jonathan and his fellow expert speakers will be reviewing the successes and challenges with new generation engines, including program delivery and service offers, on wing support and digital services and analytics. What lessons have been learned and what do the next five years look like?

Joshua Ng will be one of the two speakers at a session entitled Regional Trends and Market Forecast. Together, they will be examining the current status and upcoming trends of the Asia-Pacific MRO market and aviation industries, including challenges and opportunities for the future, both in domestic and global markets.
