Jonathan M. Berger of Alton Aviation Consultancy will be giving two presentations and moderating a panel discussion at the 2018 MRO Asia-Pacific conference. The event is being held at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 6th to 8th.

In the first presentation, entitled ‘Aerospace Manufacturing in Asia. Forecast and Trends’, Jonathan will be joined by Jonas Murby, Principal of Aero Dynamic Advisory. Together, they will be outlining the aircraft fleet demand in the Asia-Pacific region and its direct impact on aerospace manufacturing, including the implications for the region’s supply chain. Their presentation will consider both the influence of OEMs in the airframe and engine markets and what smaller suppliers and producers need to do to win in this space.

His second presentation, ‘Engine Aftermarket Analysis and Trends’, will examine the changes required in the Asia-Pacific region’s MRO infrastructure as the volume of new types of aero-engine entering service continues to increase. Given the rapid growth in the region Jonathan will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the aftermarket.

Jonathan will also be moderating a panel discussion on ‘Embracing Data: Applying Analytics for Engine Maintenance’. This session will consider how the digitisation of services can enhance productivity within the region’s rapidly evolving aero-engine MRO sector.
