
Based in Alton's New York office, Thomas combines a strong technical foundation, analytical rigor, and a global perspective to support clients across the aviation value chain.
Before joining Alton full-time, Thomas was an intern in the New York office, where he contributed to buy-side commercial due diligence for the acquisition of an aircraft leasing platform, supported a South American airline through a Chapter 11 restructuring process, and developed a direct operating cost analysis framework for airline engagements.
Thomas has also gained hands-on experience through internships in the aerospace and motorsport sectors, including R&D work at Sonaca and mechanical design engineering at the Williams Formula One Team. During his time at McGill, he served as President of the Vertical Flight Society student chapter, reflecting his long-standing interest in aerospace innovation.
Thomas holds a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Columbia University, offered jointly by the School of Engineering and Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. He is bilingual in English and French and is conversational in Norwegian.
