Ramsey Sharara

Based in Alton's New York office, Ramsey brings a passion for aviation alongside a strong background in finance and strategy consulting to support clients across the global aviation value chain.

Prior to joining Alton, Ramsey spent over two years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Montreal and New York, advising clients across industries with a particular focus on aerospace.  His work included supporting leading business jet OEMs, governments, airlines, and Tier 2/3 suppliers on growth strategies, product development acceleration initiatives, low-cost country expansion and more.  He also supported airline contract renegotiations for indigenous communities in Northern Canada, among other engagements.

In parallel, Ramsey advised private equity clients through operational due diligence, search and screen, and portfolio valuation efforts.  He also gained corporate finance experience through internships at General Electric (GE Vernova) and Bombardier, where he supported FP&A and process improvement initiatives.

Ramsey earned a degree in Finance and Business Analytics from McGill University in Montreal.  Having lived in the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland, he brings an international perspective to his work.  He is a native speaker of English, Arabic, and French, and is conversational in Spanish.
