Vikas Konakanchi

Based in Alton’s Dublin office, Vikas combines his lifelong passion for the aviation industry with his financial, technical, and problem-solving skills to assist clients in addressing complex strategic challenges across the aviation value chain.

Prior to joining Alton, Vikas was part of KPMG Ireland's Financial Services Tax practice, where he accumulated seven years of experience in advising aircraft leasing companies, aviation asset managers, and investment funds with their tax affairs. His specialization included tax compliance, audit support, deal structuring advisory, due diligence for M&A activities, and forecasting global tax exposures for ABS transactions. Previously, he also worked with Infosys, where he developed and tested IT solutions for clients based in the US transportation sector.

Vikas holds an MSc in Aviation Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Dublin and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from SRM University in India. He is also a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and the Irish Tax Institute.
