Twenty-five years as an airline manager and industry consultant have earned Sascha a unique breadth of exposure to every facet of the aviation industry, worldwide.
Sascha gained a thorough knowledge of all airline related processes at Lufthansa German Airlines. Early in his career he enrolled in Lufthansa’s renowned internal training program. He also managed automation and large-scale change management programs focused on passenger experience.
He moved into airline consultancy in 2000, first at Lufthansa Consulting as Senior Director in charge of the airline restructuring portfolio, later at IATA Consulting as head of airline consulting. In 2010, he founded Feuerherd Aviation Consulting, which specialized in airline restructuring, airline strategy and cost reduction programs. He and the teams he directly supervised helped clients improve financial performance by hundreds of millions annually.
Sascha has successfully led engagements for airlines of every size and type, from startups to mega-carriers, from ultra-low-cost to full-service. His specialties include restructuring, cost reduction, program and project management, and business plan setup and review.
He received a Diplom-Kaufmann in Business Administration at FernUniversität in Hagen.
