Akihiro Shibuya brings his clients over a decade of consulting experience with an exceptionally broad range of aviation and aerospace firms across the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has worked closely with OEMs, engine manufacturers, international financial firms, defense contractors and government agencies. He is a skilled analytical thinker with a proven track record across market research, market entry strategy, business growth strategy, M&A, cost structure analysis, and change management.
Before joining Alton, Mr. Shibuya was a manager in the aerospace and defense practice at Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting where he worked hands-on with many Japanese clients involved in a range of engagements from cargo aircraft procurement to military jet engine manufacturing. Throughout his career, he has performed a wide range of engagements from helping organizations control costs, implement enterprise resource planning systems, re-engineer sales processes, to launch rocket engines.
Mr. Shibuya holds a BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
