At Alton Aviation Consultancy, we are proud to donate 1% of our annual revenue to charitable organizations. Airlink, the rapid-response humanitarian relief organization, has been our largest beneficiary.
Social responsibility has been core to our business values since the founding of Alton. In 2017, we formalized our commitment to giving back, becoming the first aviation and aerospace company to join Pledge 1%, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to improving communities around the world.
In addition to our financial donations, we also contribute 1% of employee’s time to philanthropic efforts supporting the local areas around our Alton offices in New York, Dublin, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Beijing.
Airlink is a nonprofit organization that works with aviation and logistics partners to transport relief workers and emergency supplies for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) responding to rapid-onset disasters and humanitarian crises.
Today, Airlink’s network consists of more than 40 commercial and charter airlines and 100+ international nonprofits and NGOs.
Notably, Airlink has significantly supported COVID-19 relief efforts, delivering 262,552 lbs of cargo and 6.5 million pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across three continents. The charity has also aided the delivery of humanitarian supplies to those affected by the Beirut explosion, and Hurricanes Laura and Sally.
